Erin Southwell is an award-winning children’s photographer located in the beautiful Brushy Mountains in northwest North Carolina. Her primary subjects are her young children, as her work explores the world and its magic through their eyes, with particular emphasis on nature, seasons and creation.  Perhaps the opposite of a pure lifestyle approach to photography, Erin captures the way a particular moment or place would have felt for the subject within the image, transporting the viewer into the magic of the subject’s experience.
